| lets not get to carried away with a sticky start from are centres last week at skolars ford didnt do a thing against a poor team and ropati did ok,this week tyrer had a mixed game great in attack good and bad in defence ropati just missed tackles defencivly its the hardest place on the field they didnt make the rong descions if they did thats when we have to be worried and i for 1 is confident that the 2 who played there tonight are the best for the job and will come good for sure. The upside we won a dogged game and now we only have to beat rochdale to qualify

| I believe Betts will get ropati and tyrer on the tackle bags, and they will become better.Tyrer is a good kicker and his attacking play can be good and his defence is when concentrates.I feel he needs to stop moaning with his winger Gardner and start gelling. We have Ford ready if they perform badly.

| its an high emotion game anything can trigger off raised voices but im sure they both get along fine or they wouldnt be put out there togther it goes on all over the feild but centres and wingers are closest to fans so its easier to be picked up on

| Tyrer Is a good player he just needs to believe in himself a little more, ropati is a beast of a guy but just had a bad night last night flying out of the line. I'm more than confident we'll have a good season.

^ What he said ^
Tangi last night reminded me of Moule in SL quite often shot out on his own and ended up looking silly being skinned 1 on 1 either you all go or no-one does.
A confident Tyrer will be a top Chanp centre at least, he took his try out wide very, very well and a lot wouldn't of scored it! Throw Ford into the mix and nice to have some depth there!

Nope Ford is battling it out with Tyrer/Ropati, Cravens full back spot is his.

I was under the assumption from Betts that nobody's place in the XIII is safe?

| ford for me is just a steady eddie wont do anything spectacular but wont make many mistakes (solid) dont really no much about ropati and a confident tyrer is a big threat in sl nevermind champ,he set up a great try for salford last year on sky against hull i think (on the wing btw) but they havent started well this term but early days im full of confidence in who ever plays there

We do, but I don't think Craven is one of them.

I remember that try, it was reminiscent of Darren Lockyears 'superman try' but of course a young british player at an unfashionable club would never get the same credit.
Tyrer seems to have been messed around at Crusaders and then was never given a run at centre at Salford, as a saints fan I hope to see all our academy produvts fullfill their potential, hopefully your club is where it will happen.
