Just goes to show the difference between Championship and SL, well that and also how bad we were last week. Batley are an annoying nuggety team that you have to weary of but, in all honesty they are not one of the better sides in the Championship.

There wasn't much difference between SL and Championship at Knowsley Road today !
We matched them on the pitch 90% of the time and over 2,000 travelling fans outshouted them on the terraces for 80 minutes. Althought a win was probably too much to ask for, with a decent ref the score would have been MUCH closer.

And if the match had been at Craven Park ........ well, there's another story. The crowd would have been almost double todays without doubt.
