| I was dissapointed to see the Barrow fans leaving in their droves with 10 mins to go. There team have done well this season, 2nd in the league and got to a final. Felt they deserved more from their fans today...

| But it wasn't 10 minutes to go! They applauded their team and then left before the presentation!

Couldn't agree more, was disgusted at the walk out. As you say the Barrow players deserved better.
Congratulations on your win - thoroughly deserved.

| The ones leaving were a pack of glory supporting s in my eyes, they should have stayed and clapped the players off the pitch like a lot did. Well done Widnes, best team on the day won, simple as that, see you at Craven Park in August!

| A few left early, the vast majority stayed untill the end. If roles were reversed the same would have happened with our supporters.
Thats how supporters are, its no big deal.

| True Supporters?
Sometimes you can be disappointed and not want to watch as the opposition lift the trophy, sometimes you just dont want to watch the opposition fans celebrating at the final hooter.
I follow Widnes to most games when finances allow and very rarely leave early, For instance our shocking loss at home to Barrow where they pretty much destroyed us. I stayed till the end and clapped the team off, But in our grand final defeat to Castleford i left with 5 minutes to go as i just didnt want to Witness the Cas fans celebrating. I was too disappointed. But when we lost to HKR again i stayed till the end and watched the lifting of the trophy.
Every fan at that match was a supporter who paid their money and did their part in what was a great day, all this junk about true supporters is just a way for some to stroke their own Egos and have a cheap dig.

the talk on here though was that some barrow fans were leaving before the hooter yes by all means leave when you have applauded your team off but not beforer the hooter has even gone.
