I am normally one of the first to jump on 'our fans are sooo passive' bandwagon but today 10 out of 10, can't be faulted. Really did make ourselves hear, encouraging every play, no one slating the team or coach at all. I'd say we had about 1500 in that end, maybe a bit less perhaps.
Great following, great to hear some of the old school chants today too.

TBF, Widnes used to travel in massive numbers to Leigh. Interest has dwindled.

Remember as well against Leigh we were not playing well in the lead up to the game. Plus the weather was awful, it was on SKY and it was £16 to get in!!!

Think that will have an effect on the attendance, from both sides aswell.
