Which stand(s) do they open at Bramall Lane?

The John Street Stand this season, tickets will be on sale at that side of the ground, and will be sign posted.

It's the "Malta Family Stand" on John Street, holds 7,000 and it's a great stand if it's sunny like today, how many you think will make the trip over?

Any one else older enough to remember our last trip over to Bramall lane?

Hopefully after a good start to the season we can bring around 1,000

Not sure if it was the last 1 but remember being there the game after winning the WCC in 89 and getting stuffed

Thats a big ask Vikingman, If we take 500 to south yorkshire i would be very happy. A good win against sheffield in what will be a tough game followed by a good performance at home to Hunslet and then we might break the 1k barrier for the Leigh game. Im Hopefull the club Start buidling up to these games before the announcement and realy try to get the support up both home and away.

I would probably stick with the same team we used at fev, No point risking I'anson or Sculthorp until we are certain they are ready and have had a few hit outs at a lower level.

I reckon we'll take decent numbers, been to Sheffield many times (Owlerton, Bramall Lane and Don Valley) and there always seems a good turn out, even when we've had to go over on a Friday night.

oh yeah forgot about them 2 no flynn tho not bin good enough yet this year i think he took his place for granted and gaskell and gardner are playing well

Sheffield have had a wretched start to the year but I wouldn't read too much into it yet. I expect us to win, however.

Sheffield fans have read a lot into it, we are severely lacking in the backs, with Yere out as well it should be a comfortable Widnes win, hoping I'm wrong though!

The fact that you have taken a quote out of context from a post which was positive about sheffield suggests you went looking for offence. The fact is you are not a team expected to challenge for honours, that's true and that's what I was clearly getting at, so go cry elsewhere.

I'm not looking for offence at all, its merely a shame we never get any credit for what we have achieved, our club is only 10 year old remember. In 2009 we finished third and last year got to the Final Eliminator. That sounds like challenging to me. Although this year for us will be a bag of nail where's I fully expect Widnes to win NL1 this year and I already know that you will be the club granted an SL "licence" for 2012-14.
