Quote: Warrington Wolf "Not even for a week. Normal service resumed. As you know being a cup winning team (After God Friday). There is always a dip in form after a trophy celebration.
We wrote the game off before kick off. It's not ideal but it's hardly the world's biggest scandal.
Always look for a positive in a negative, it maintains my merry outlook on life.
Widnes winning has helped rekindle a spark and the banter is getting better.
Rather than Widnes being a brush over and a certain 4 points (boring if we're all honest) we know you're going to turn up and it's going to be blood and thunder.
If i'm honest and i've said this long before this game, i want Widnes to be competitive, i want them challenging for honours, there's no fun beating teams easily, there's no joy in a league of one sided match ups.
So if al the NW clubs are challenging Wire, Widnes, Saints, Wigan even Salford, then great.
