Thinking who has been the best coach and player of your era mine being the 80s, For me Doug Laughton is the Greatest coach ive seen at this club with his air of confidence and sometimes cockiness said it all world class players he signed with Great home grown talent he new how to do the buisness, best player for me Joe Lydon , joe had it all speed , skill and great goalkicker defensively sound gutted when he went to Wigan best ,Australian Dale shearer best import icon_smile.gif

The player who made the most difference to the club has got to be Vinty Karalius.

Until he arrived we were a tough team of triers, but he expected more and he got it. Joe Egan was the coach but Vinty really made things tick.
