Quote: SRC "There wasn't much difference between SL and Championship at Knowsley Road today !
We matched them on the pitch 90% of the time and over 2,000 travelling fans outshouted them on the terraces for 80 minutes. Althought a win was probably too much to ask for, with a decent ref the score would have been MUCH closer.
And if the match had been at Craven Park ........ well, there's another story. The crowd would have been almost double todays without doubt.'"
Riots, people invading the pitch and your chairman up to his usual tricks. Sounds like Barra are going to be in trouble.

*note* you also had 1,401 fans from Barra in attendance, not 2,000+

| Sounds like a few too many beers were consumed on the way down to the GPW
Not a good thing to hear that there was fighting at the game.
I hope nothing like this happens on Thursday night

Barrow for Super League 2015: |

"Riots" ???? - 2 or 3 people were ejected from the ground for being drunk. One was a 67 year old pensioner who was apparently pretty badly knocked about by a group of stewards.
"people invading the pitch" - 1 young stupid teenager during a break in play. Stewards did nothing to stop her. She should get a ban from Craven Park IMO.
"chairman up to his usual tricks" - there's only so much personal abuse a person can take before giving a bit back.
Funny, I didn't see a sad Widnes fan counting all the Barrow fans yesterday. If the crowd was 4,900-odd (as very dubiously claimed), then there were well over 2,000 from Barrow there. That figure has been mentioned by 'neutral' and Saints journalists as well. What is your problem ??
As for the club 'being in trouble', I think the only ones likely to get into bother are the stewards.
There'll be no trouble on Thursday as there was nothing to speak of yesterday apart from a few people having a few beers to many (just like many other events - football, rugby, concerts etc etc).
Widnes fans are hardly paragons of virtue - especially after the goings-on at the 2007 NR Cup Final.

SRC you must have eyes everywhere to know exactly what was going on inside the ground and in the exec boxes.
See you on Thursday.
