| From 2025 Super League clubs enter at round three joining twenty Championship and League One clubs.
Seeded draw meaning every SL club will be away at a lower league club.
Good idea to add an extra round for top flight clubs. Some tough games.

| Good to get a chance to potentially go to a new ground, does this change much though? Could still end up with a situation where you play a team 4 or even 5 times a season (cup, league h+a, loop, and magic) After this extra round, you're back to the situation now, where there's likely to be 12 SL clubs and 4 non SL clubs. All they've really done is shorten the cup by 2 rounds . Also what's to stop the non SL club switching the fixture to the SL clubs ground to boost revenue?

New Structure for 2025 Challenge CupThe Betfred Challenge Cup will have a new structure in 2025, with the 12 Super League clubs joining the Road to Wembley at the Third Round stage. The Third Round draw will be held in January, well before the start of the Super League season, with the aim of building more momentum towards the showpiece Finals Day in June. It means that clubs from the Betfred Championship, League One and even the community game will have more chance to secure a glamour tie at home to Super League opposition, as the Third Round draw will be seeded to guarantee each of the Super League clubs travel away to one of the 20 Second Round winners. Last sentence is a good point Steve.
This move is obviously trying to add some revenue to lower league teams nothing else

| Good idea, lower league clubs get a pay day, SL fans get to go somewhere different and might mean some younger players get a run out early on the season and get a chance to impress

| I like this changing it up a bit and the SL sides should come in a round earlier, plus chance for Championship sides to get a decent crowd and maybe the odd upset.
