| Comforting to know that Adam is part of the group involved in discussing and designing the development. At last we have some input into the future and it isn’t all about them.
Like the idea of a smaller separate stadium for us to use but would prefer this to be nearer 15k than 12k as the support is there as proven by ticket sales for Sunday.

I am cautiously optimistic of the plans as Adam is on board and I trust his judgement,
But we have to watch that we arent shunted into some small, cheap athletics stadium. I doubt they would look to increase the size of the MKM itself right now as even with ticket deals City arent getting past 20k, and on current form are nearer League1 than Premier League!
There maybe needs to be a clause in the Lease that explicity states we have to play at the main stadium.

| The fact that AP is involved should give comfort in that it proves the good working relationship he now has with the SMC, and he wouldn’t be endorsing (and actively working on it) if it didn’t benefit FC.
The smaller stadium is intriguing, and I wouldn’t be against toggling between the two, depending on the fixture. 14K to 15K would be perfect for us as a permanent home TBH.
The Hull Fair issue will be crucial in sorting though.
Interesting times.

| Hull fair is the stumbling block, I'm sure the majority of residents Dow Walton Street and all the others in walking distance would be glad to see the back of it.
The lib dem Council seem to be more open than the Labour Council in negotiating it seems

Not sure I like the idea of toggling between two stadiums tbh?
I realise that could cost us some much needed revenue but prefer us to play in familiar surroundings at the same stadium and maximise ‘home’ advantage.
Interesting times as you say!

| Sounds exciting, would love to have our own stadium on the site, 12k would be about right as we are now except Rovers, but should we be successful would be a bit small.
Could also start holding concerts as location miles better than Craven Park.
Not getting carried away, but at least the relationship looks very healthy, which is the main thing.

| A 12/15k stadium on the grounds would be ideal for us.
I think talk of increasing the capacity of the stadium to 30k a bit premature though. City don't even sell it out now
AP being part of the discussion is great to hear. I'd imagine he'd be all for it too, he wanted the surrounding area renovating when the stadium was built.
Sounds like we're very much in the plans/though process which can only be a good thing

I don't think it will be too long until Pearson is involved with City, wouldn't be surprised to see some investment come our way too.

| I agree Dave. Can see things happening at FC once a new lease is agreed. Not heard anything, just a feeling I have.
Can easily imagine AP being involved at some level at City, and the City owners getting involved with FC in some way. Would make sense if these plans come to fruition.

| Think it’s “pie in the sky” and “false dawns” but that’s the FC sceptic in me. I’d love a smaller more intimate ground were fans can influence officials and players, in the nicest possible way, of course. Can you imagine the banter with Westerman if he was 6 feet away from the supporters Nothing wrong with Costello, provided it was developed properly and the Council sold it to us for peanuts but a new all covered15k stadium with a proportion of seating would be outstanding.

| I think its good news that discussions are being held and sensible ones at that. AP being involved is also a big plus as it again shows the change in attitude since the departure of the Allams with what seems a genuine will and understanding between the two clubs and the Council.
I think another smaller stadium is a good idea but feel if Hull FC were to play out of there I think 12K would be too restrictive and something along the lines of 15K would be a more prudent/sensible capacity.
Think most would agree something needs to be done with the whole area surrounding the Stadium with some form of redevelopment to make better use of what is almost waste land in its current state.
As for Hull Fair its a long standing tradition that on the one hand does need to be protected though on the other the city needs to prosper and move forward as well. I think a redevelopment of this type could well be a very good asset to the City and help to draw in much needed income and from further than the Hull boundary. What is the value to the City in terms of income stream from the Fair and how much does it generate to the local economy in real terms?
A lot of food for thought though and a promising future ahead.

| AP has seemed a lot more positive and bullish of late. Some of that probably can be attributed to these plans, and the new relationship with the SMC.
Whatever happens, FC look to be an integral part of any plans going forward.

| I seriously doubt they can build a 12k stadium of any decent quality within a £25m budget for the full site.
We need corporate facilities, HD floodlights for SKY and while I'm not someone who really uses the food and drink at the stadium, things have moved on from having just a shed of a stand and peeing up walls ala the Boulevard.
Better to keep playing at the main stadium and have a small 5k stadium for athletics and for City and FC's reserves and youth teams in my opinion.
