And £25 for Wakey!!
I don't think £28 is unreasonable if I'm being honest to sit is a stadium with a good view no matter where you sit and covered in the most part from the elements compared to £25 to stand out in the open at Wakey.
That said the game needs to survive and for clubs to survive so following the financial hit they all faced its inevitable that match day tickets would increase at each club.
People will either pay to follow their teams or they won't it all depends on every ones own personal view as to if that VFM for them or not

Hardly any team bring more then a single coach of fans over to either Hull club, and don't kid yourself that slightly lower ticket prices would change that. And the ones who want to come follow their club will still pay the £28 regardless. Its a few pound more than what most clubs charge and that's for a seat in the leagues best stadium with an unrestricted view.
If you don't like it, save your money ready to get wet through on a cold night in Wakey.

| Having read the previous posts and having paid £25 to go to Belle Vue today which included experiencing their toilets that almost matched The Boulevard’s 1970’s Toilet standards.
I know Wakefield are about to commence their ground re-development, but perhaps it’s time to standardise all Away Ticket prices?
As a suggestion,
£25 for covered seating
£20 for covered standing
£15 for uncovered standing
Free: for an artificial beach and Burger Van
Or if we really want to encourage more away support at all games, another £5 off all the above prices (including the last one!)

Got to admit I think its fair to say sadly that Belle Vue must now the the worst ground in SL as it really has seen better days and it appears money is no longer being spent on the up keep of the place while talks of a new stadium have been going on.
You'd think they'd have had more than two scanners for the away contingent considering both Hull clubs have large away followings as it is but the first game must have known a large number would have travelled. Its not like you are segregated once in the ground so why not allow away fans to use the North stand turn styles as well?

To be fair, their ground re-development starts in a few weeks when they demolish the ‘Best’ stand and commence re-building.
I think they have had a long protracted approval process and a couple of projects that never got off the ground (including a ground share with Cas). Perhaps that’s why there’s been no investment in the ground, while they waited for the green light.
There’s a thread on the Wakefield site about their stadium re-development.
Hopefully they get the work started soon.

I know they've been waiting forever and a day for the new ground or redevelopment of Belle Vue but it seems any kind of up keep has been non existent, even the toilets near the south end were still out of order/closed.
I appreciate they don't want to throw good money after bad but they should still make sure the ground is of an acceptable standard which I think its far to say the majority would argue it isn't.
