Can see the quarter final attendance being poor. 7-30 on Bonfire Night. Even the pub was poorly attended on a Friday evening this year.

Maybe they'll put on some fireworks?

They won’t need to. I’m sure some Dobbins fans will bring some.

| The Hull quater final is likely to be New Zealand v Fiji which should draw a decent crowd.

We can cheer on Lovodua and Evans ripping in against the kiwis.
I was a bit gutted when the Fiji group game had been moved tbh

| Ticket prices are ridiculous. £70 for half way line for Jamaica??
While I understand Hull Fair was the reason for switching games with Headingley...Leeds has a big Jamaican community, Hull doesn't. I can see it being a shocking attendence.
Then as others have just pointed out, they are playing the Quarter final at 7:30 on Bonfire night?? Why not afternoon, or even 5pm meaning people can go watch fireworks afterwards.

Kiwis vs Jamaica is a mis-match, and will struggle to get a decent crowd if it’s full prices.
Quarter Final will be decent game to go to though.

I have a ticket for that game and was annoyed to see it moved to Hull when Headingley would get a decent crowd since we have a big Jamaican community. Only for that match to be replaced with Australia v Fiji.

I can only assume they are hoping Leeds based fans don't ask for a refund and still go to Hull, but that is unlikely. Likewise Hull based fans who booked to see a competitive Australia-Fiji clash aren't going to turn out for a New Zealand training session.

I think there would be Leeds based fans who would have asked for their money back. I cant see many Jamaica supporters going to Hull to watch the team. I can honestly say that this was a right cock up. Had the fixtures been at their original grounds then you would have had a couple of games that people would have been that well attended. On the other hand things could change between now and then. These switch around matches may be attended by more people than we first think.

Certainly not on the pitch. It’s a dead rubber. As someone quoted, price is prohibitive and if I wanted to watch fireworks I could pay a fiver and go to numerous spectaculars in the West Hull village area. I’m afraid this is going to be a huge loss making excercise, unfortunately, we have this perennial problem of getting RL supporters to watch international matches. It always appears to be the other way round with RU. Plus RU’s international program sponsor their league systems, even down to grass roots. I do wish we could emulate it.

| At the last World Cup in the UK, Tonga v Cook Islands in a group game on the night of 5th November played at Leigh drew a crowd of 10,554 so lets not get all Victor Meldrew.

| I went to NZL v PNG at the last world cup and the atmosphere was electric despite the complete thrashing by NZL
its a good day out, and there will undoubtedly be discount for tickets at some point.
