| Which is our best half back partnership?
To me, Kelly/Connor has looked our most potent combination. Not a criticism of Sneydy as I like him as a player, just judging it on what I've seen.
Think Radford will stick with Kelly/Sneyd though.

| I'd have Kelly/Connor all day long.
Like the way Connor is prepared to take the line on and engage the defence. Think his own defence is better too, Sneyd was too much like a turn style last night.
At 21 and playing alongside Kelly think Connor will develop his game.
Other than last play predictable kicks Sneyd doesn't do enough for me.

| Kelly/Sneyd
They are our first choice halves and we should always play them if available. Connor is a good goalkicker, Sneyd is excellent. I get the frustrations with Sneyd but give Connor an extended run at scrum half and eventually people will knock him, saying his kicking game is not good enough.
BTW Sneyd's tackle % is marginally better than Connor's.

What dictates they are our 1st choice halfs and why can't that change if ones form is better than another? It shouldn't be set in stone or where's the incentive to play for a place.
Kicking is all Sneyd seems to have as his forte and that's not enough for me.
Why will people knock Connor, where is your evidence to suggest this will be the case?
I'd rather see Connor at least having a go, taking on the line than Sneyd catch and pass kick on the 5th.
Connor has time and ability to develop his kicking game.
I must have missed Sneyd dropping off at least 5 tackles and sat on his ar5e for 1 bizarre attempt.

| Kelly and Connor all day long. Does anybody watch the games? Sneyd doesn't engage any defenders as he plays too far away from them so they back away from him and pick up the runners. We are one of the only sides who struggle to create an overlap as nobody takes defenders out of play. When we had the overlap last night and Sneyd opted to kick for Talanoa, it was awful. Any 7 worth his salt throws a quick pass to the centre and it's try time

| I must admit I'm starting to move into the Kelly/Connor camp. We've certainly played our best rugby with those two there imo, although the number of basic errors in recent weeks hasnt given Sneyd too much to work with. Griffin is starting to look much better at centre too, so its not just so obvious to say stick Connor back at centre. I think next week I would stick with Sneyd. He's got the big game experience and temperament. But I would be monitoring the situation. I certainly see the arguement about him not enganging defenders well enough, but thats not what he is. He is a distributer and an organiser with a strong kicking game. I dont think we would notice his short comings so much if we had a better ball player at full back (not blaming Shaul by the way, he offers plenty in other areas). Its kind of like Richard Horne in reverse, when everyone used to bemoan his lack of organisational skills. What I would really like to see is Connor as more of a ball handling 13, I think we have enough size in the pack that we dont need an extra prop at 13, but I dont see Radford going down that route any time soon.

regarding Sneyd not engaging defenders...
Could it be, he has lost confidence, due to no support runners??

| Kelly & Sneyd my 1st choice, Kelly has the x factor out of the three of them and I think that Sneyd has the better kicking game than Jake.
