Thought Connor was meant to be out for a few weeks? Don't want a half back playing with a jabbed up hand.

That was according to some posters on here, and that's a pretty big caveat

Maybe time to give Rawsthorne a chance ? If nowt else he's big and quick.

No disrespect to Leigh but if you have to pick a side to debut against it's them or Widnes at the moment. Would like to see Rawsthorne given a run out, especially with them missing a first choice winger.

Well, with respect to Leigh,But for Higson's brainfart challenge, we were going ok at that stage,and Salford are going very well atm,as you already know.

I agree but if he plays wing then partner him with Tuimavave on the right and not Griffin.
He will need a centre who can cover him and tackle.
A bit more body development and Rawsthorne will be first choice wing in two seasons

Think Michaels will miss out this week.
Another very weak bench

Our Bench and squad depth looks very weak this season .

Some described him as a "plodder" and what not, but Pritchard did bring a lot to the side, even if it was only coming on in spells down the middle. We miss that impact, someone to suck in 3 or 4 tired defenders, sapping opposition energy with big carries. People might have been disappointed with him, but ultimately we didn't manage to replace what we lost when he left, resulting in a fairly weak bench.

Obviously there are cap constraints and the club decided to spend on Kelly, so there are pros & cons.

Next season there could be an opportunity to bring an impact forward in by offloading a couple of squad players (like Michaels & Thompson), or with Hadley coming back, start him and Mini off the bench.
