Not asking to be controversial or cause aggro with your near neighbours, im going on holiday in june and thinking of buying a couple of autobiographies. Looking for opinion on Cookes and if its worth a read?

Buy it. I thought it was superb. It sheds much needed light on the events of the time. He's not a saint by any means but my opinion of the bloke changed in the positive after reading his account.
