The club let Lee Smith train and play for us last year despite them knowing full well we couldn't sign him due to us being at full cap...
we also know Motu Tony has form about telling porkies regarding such and was caught out with his statement to the HDM saying we had cap space for him when we didn't, so glad to see he's learnt a lesson about spouting lies for the sake of PR BS

We offered Lee Smith a contract, although a low one, we were going to loan out a couple of young kids to make space (I know as I know one of the players Dads, that was going out on loan), he was ready to sign but got a better offer from Leigh.
So only one person speaking BS and it wasn't Motu.
