I HAVE BEEN A HULL FC SUPPORTER FOR AROUND 40 YEARS AND AM A REGULAR FOLLOWER OF THIS BOARD BUT HAVE NEVER CONTIBUTED.
UNTIL NOW.

I ALONG WITH MANY OTHER SUPPORTERS WAS REALLY PLEASED WHEN ADAM PEARSON PURCHASED THE CLUB AND THOUGHT THE ONLY WAS WAS UP. HOW WRONG I WAS.
HE VERY QUICKLY REMOVED RICHARD AGAR AND REPLACED HIM WITH PETER GENTLE (ASSISTANT AUSTRAILIA COACH) AND WE FINISHED 6TH IN THE LEAGUE ON 2 OCCASIONS AND GOT TO WEMBLEY ALBEIT A DISASTER. HOWEVER IN MY VIEW WE WERE PROGRESSING. SO WE SACK PETER GENTLE AND EMPLOY LEE RADFORD AS OUR HEAD COACH WITH ANDY LAST AS ASSISTANT. NEITHER OF THESE HAVE ANY EXPERIENCE AT COACHING AT THIS LEVEL. IN FACT ALL OUR COACHING STAFF ARE INEXPERIENCED.
I BELIEVE WE SHOULD HAVE BROUGHT IN AN EXPIERENCED COACH TO ASSIST RADFORD (EG JOHN KEAR OR EVEN BRIAN NOBLE). EVEN NOW WE HAVE NO EXPIERENCED COACHES. WE HAVE HAD MIXED SUCCESS WITH RECRUITMENT BUT IN MY VIEW WE HAVE THE PLAYERS TO HAVE AT LEAST ACHIEVED A POSITION IN THE TOP 6 MAYBE EVEN TOP 4. IN MY VIEW THE REASON WE HAVE NOT ACHIEVED THIS IS DUE TO POOR COACING AND MOTIVATION.
A FEW EXAMPLES

DROP LINEHAM EVERY OTHER WEEK BECAUSE HE DOES NOT LIKE HIM

GET RID OF BEN CROOKS DUE TO POOR DEFENCE (SURELY COACHES JOB TO IMPROVE THAT) AND CROOKS WAS SCAPEGOATED WHEN OTHERS WERE JUST AS BAD. HE AT LEAST POSSESSED SOME SKILL AND PROMISE. LETS SEE WHAT CAS MAKE OF HIM

CONTINUE TO PLAY YEAMEN WHO GRANTED HAS BEEN A GOOD PLAYER IN THE PAST BUT IS REALLY ONLY GOOD ENOUGH TO BE A STOP GAP NOW.

JAMIE SHAUL WHO IS CERTAINLY ONE OF OUR BEST PLAYERS GETS DROPPED EVERY OTHER WEEK FOR RANKIN WHO IS WANTING AWAY IF AN AUSSIE CLUB WILL TAKE HIM. WHAT GREAT WAY TO MOTIVATE YOUR PLAYERS.

STEVE MICHAELS I BELIEVE HAS BEEN A GOOD SIGNING. HE IS QUICK DEFENSIVELY SOUND AND LAST SUNDAY PROVED HE COULD SCORE TRIES GIVEN THE SERVICE FROM A YOUNG ACCADEMY PLAYER WHO WILL NO DOUBT BE DROPPED AS SOON AS YEAMEN IS FIT.

THE LATEST FIASCO OF MERGING THE ACCADEMY WITH HKR IS THE LAST STRAW. THE ONLY BENEFIT IS COST REDUCTION. PEARSON SAYS WE ARE NOT PRODUCING THE TALENT FOR SUPER LEAGUE BUT WE WERE CONSTANTLY TOLD WHAT BRILLIANT UNDER 19S WE HAVE. THESE UNDER 19S ARE NEVER GIVEN A CHANCE EG. WE BRING CUNNINGHAM BACK OFF LOAN AND THEN DONT PLAY HIM. THE FOLLOWING PLAYERS FROM THE ACADEMY IN MY VIEW COULD BE GOOD ENOUGH IF GIVEN THE CHANCE AND DECENT COACHING.

ABDUL, LANCASTER, DEAN ,TYSON WILSON TWINS, TURGUT, PLUS I AM SURE MORE WHO WOULD MAKE IT GIVEN THE CHANCE AN DECENT COACHING.
WHY DIDN'T EITHER HARRY TYSON WILSON OR DEAN GET A RUN OUT INSTEAD OF PUTTING ABDUL IN AS SCRUM HALF AT WAKEFIELD. ABDUL IS CLEARLY A LOOSE FORWARD. I BELIEVE WE HAVE LOST EVERY GAME WHERE RANKIN HAS BEEN IN THE HALVES.
THE ANSWER TO THE PROBLEM OF STEPPING UP TO SUPER LEAGUE IS TO HAVE AN "A" TEAM WHERE THESE PLAYERS CAN PROGRESS BUT OUR OWNER IS NOT IN FAVOUR OF THIS PRESUMABLY ON A COST BASIS.
IF ADAM PEARSON DOES NOT BITE THE BULLET AND EMPLOY AN EXPIERENCED TOP LEVEL COACH HE WILL CONTINUE TO LOSE MONEY ON A INCREASING SCALE AS THE GATES WILL PLUMMET EVEN FURTHER NEXT YEAR WHEN PASSHOLDERS DO NOT RENEW.

PLEASE ADAM YOU HAVE TO TAKE ACTION NOW.

Great post. Agree with most of what has been said here.

For a first post this is top class. It tells it like it is and its a pity AP doesn't read these forums as he would soon understand the disbelief of the fans at the actions he has taken, and more importantly the action he has not taken regarding our coach.

Just a quick point, Lineham has only started being dropped since it was announced he is leaving. So if Shaul should play ahead of Rankin because Jordan's leaving then why shouldn't somebody play ahead of Lineham when he's in the same situation?

If you had a school, a business, a government department or whatever which was under performing (even in crisis) and you were looking at changing the management you would appoint a proven performer not someone who had never done the job before. Since kear left we've appointed a succession of untried assistants into the role and, other than a brief spell of success under sharp and some improvements in some areas under gentle, we've underperformed throughout that period. How anyone can think continuing with that strategy is likely to bring about any different result is beyond me. The old adage "If you always do what you've always done, you'll always get what you've always got" is certainly the case here. We need to bring in someone with the experience to implement the changes the club desperately needs or we will continue as bottom feeders until the cows come home.

Because Lineham is the best winger at the club. Not much in Shaul/Rankin (Shaul edges it for me) therefore Shaul should play as he'll be here next year and beyond.

Fair enough probably not worded the best from me. The few games Linehams been left out Talanoa & Naughton were both playing well so would have been unfair to drop them. As you say not much between Shaul/Rankin so depends what we want from our Fullback as to which one plays

But after Logan's game on Sunday we've surely got to have him in there.

My love and passion for this club has all but disappeared and I'm fast becoming past caring.
Pearson needs to act now to save this club or Radford be gallant enough to admit he's not up to the job.
