| I have been reading a lot about Joe joining Warrington next season lately. Just a serious question to anyone who is REALLY in the know. Is this true????
Feel that Joes is a fantastic player for us, and although I've seen a lot of uncalled for criticism laid on him for the last few years, I have seen him looking the more complete player year on year. I for one would be very miffed if we see another one of our stars leaving for Warrington.
Please, only serious replies!!

| Seen same rumours but it would not surprise me in the least, like you say he gets IMO really over the top criticism and if i was him would think why bother and would jump at the chance .For me he is one of the hardest working players we have ,yes he makes mistakes but show me a players who does not.It like Yeaman some never get off his back if both players were shocking then you could agree with some of the comments but who else in the squad could do better

| You said you'd never attend another Hull FC game whilst Radford was in charge 10 rounds ago, so not sure how you've seen much of Westy this year as we've not been in tv too much. He's been injured and non-amazing in between, certainly off the high levels he set last year. Very good player though.
I've seen it mentioned a couple of times on here but not read about it as extensively as you. Where are these reports documented? If you're not going again this year, and I'd wager next as AP's backing his man, maybe your disappointment at this scenario will be less acute than you think.

Yeaman as more try assists, clean breaks, tackle busts then Westerman. Maybe Yeaman could do better at 13

Shhh, certain players need to be consistently abused.

| There have been rumours about him leaving but unlike with Lineham nothing credible.
He hasn't been as good this season as last but I will be very, very disappointed if he does leave.

| Never get consistency from him. Error-prone and gives away penalties for fun. I'd sooner see Thompson given a go at LF.

| Needs to step up, struggling this year to find his place in the team, previously he was the main go to man because we have poor pivots, but with Pryce and Sneyd he isn't needed as much for that role.
I'd like to see him go wider and play more as a runner than a ball handler, we will need it when Mini and Ellis retire.
I rather keep him, but if someone offered a good fee or a player swap I'd be tempted as we have Abdul, who I think has more potential than Westy as a ball playing LF.

Thompson has played second row, prop and centre but I'm not aware he has ever played loose forward.
I see there are a few on here slagging off Westerman. This often happens when a player is leaving

Yeaman is pants.
Talanoa has proved he is better at centre and Sa is a far better centre than Yeaman. There are two for a start.
That said centre is a priority to add a couple of big guys with some real pace and attacking flair particularly if Sa is not kept on and we are looking to use small wingers like Naughton and Lancaster who will get kicked to death.
I like Joe Westerman but think he will also leave at the end of the season as it seems we need money.
Big chance though for Abdul if it happens.
