Now whether this is true I don't know, but have been informed by an employee of the SMC, the SMC have told Hull FC , because of the installation of the the new floodlights, which is why we are playing away for 5 weeks, there will be no floodlights for the Challenge Cup game against Leeds. As I say whether it is right I don't know.

The "new" ones are already in, the old ones are still in, and in use. 32 days between events. If they are not ready then see SMC in court

After your previous reply I asked the question again, and was told ,all the turnstile staff were told last Sunday they would not be required again until the 5th July. Read into that whatever you will.

We always play away in June because of work to the pitch. It's been the same for years.

Surely it will be played at Headingley if FC can't host the game?

There is no way we should be giving Leeds home advantage, I'd play it at Donny or Cas rather than Leeds.

Has anyone actually said the game isn't taking place at home? The club confirmed the fixture on the Friday night at 8:00pm and that its live on Sky. Surely, they wouldn't confirm that without the agreement of the SMC?

Leeds have released details of ticket and travel details for this game, so maybe a worry over nothing.
