Do we have any? I know a few people who are members of branches for Leeds, who speak quite highly of them.
Looking at their site, they have around 25 branches, with one as far away as Australia

Anyone think it's something the club should try and set up? Would people use them? personally, I think if there was one in Leeds I'd get involved |

I thought they (not sure if it was the club, or fan based with support from the club) did try and set something like this up a couple of years ago, bit more local than Australia admitadly, but not heard anything recently, so presume it died a death.

I, along with quite a few others went to a meeting in Cottingham quite a few months ago to discuss this very subject. It was hosted by James Clarke and there seemed to be a fair bit of interest in the idea. However, I asked for some information regarding the number of passholders who lived in my area and months later am still waiting for a reply. Either they've dropped the idea or someone is not doing their job. Needless to say my initial enthusiasm has cooled somewhat.

We used to have one on Leeds entitled the Hull FC West Yorkshire Supporters Club which was very active in the 80's. We were based at the Adelphi pub in Leeds. I'm toying with the idea of getting a reunion together for the 150th anniversary. Quite a few of the members are still travelling to games.

I used to go to that with my mum(Joan) and dad (Jeff) and brother (john). I remember we used to get the mini bus from outside the queens hotel on match days. It was run by a guy called Stuart Mc Clough. Ah those where the days eh |

Could be a good move re-starting a Leeds/West Yorkshire branch. Looking forward to something happening.

I am now based in West Yorks and would be interested to know if the WYSC were to start up again. |

Definitely! I moved to Castleford in April and it would be fab to have a West Yorkshire branch, especially as there seems to be a few of us  |
