| Having watched this afternoons England v Ireland game, if May is one of the two best wingers they can find then I fear for how good or bad Tom Biggs will be. May was incapable of holding on to a ball in the act of scoring a try and was obsessed with running sideways even when a few yards from the try line.
This is posted slightly tongue in cheek as the few clips I have seen of Biggs he looks an exciting player but the utter lack of adventure that seems to be instilled in to British union players is depressing.
Good game this afternoon though.

| biggs will struggle to make an impression IMO. He will arrive mid season having never played the game and will take at least 1/2 a season to get up to speed playing dual reg at donny. Massive risk to play him in a SL game.

| think biggs will do well for us, like the look of nowell the other winger for england, as for may i agree should have scored, think brown is a very good fullback, and some of our forwards are big units, good win imo,

| I can see Biggs only playing with Donny this year. Even if injuries are bad then I think Stark will get the nod before Biggs.
Hopefully ready for first team next year.

I know this article has been dragged up a few times but Will Greenwood from the Telegraph reckons Biggs [ishould[/i have played for England RU.

Whether or not that says much for him is another matter.

Lack of adventure as you put it shows you don't understand union, you can't afford to get isolated so even if there is only one defender in front of you and you have no support you have to have the assumption that he will tackle you, they're probably capable of beating that man but can't risk turning the ball over.

Sounds like lack of adventure to me.
