| I believe he is the right man for the job, he has a very good rugby brain attack/defence, he has been coached at FC & the bulls by some excellent coaches, he is british which i believe is very good for our game, plus a few of his ex team mates from the bulls are all doing well in there coaching roles, steve mac, brian mac, anderson, harris as assistant at wigan, fielden has gone into a coaching role also, what are your thoughts on him?

| Some aspects of the pre season have been a bit bewildering and I can't understand the lack of chances for Miller. On the other hand we looked decent in spells against Rovers. I will let you know in a couple of months.

| I hope he's more like Anderson & not Steve Mac.

| I'm really hoping he can be successful but I keep asking myself would the Australians think he is good enough to have him as an assistant coach for the national team? Time will tell

| I think we should all give him a chance and then judge him on performances, too many people are too quick to judge on here so lets just wait and see.I believe a lot of our signings have come here with a point to prove and hopefully they won't let the coaches or us the fans down.

| I admire you're loyalty to your mate radders but it's a bit premature. He may turn out great or dire or somewhere inbetween

| The jury is out so far as I am concerned. I will admit I didn't want him to get the job in the first place and wanted a more experienced coach. The fact that he is local or English counts for nothing with me.
I have not seen much evidence of the attacking, entertaining rugby we were promised. Against Bradford and Featherstone we seemed to have no structure and no game plan.
His team selection at Featherstone was puzzling.
I can't understand what he has against Jacob Miller but obviously doesn't rate him.
I haven't been impressed by the last minute panic recruitment drive either.
What concerned me most however was the way he publicly criticised the players after Bradford and Featherstone.
However I'll get behind him and the team and give him the chance to prove he's up to the job.

Yeah I'm your archetypal fence sitter, in fact I'm renowned for not voicing my opinion.

He'll go down in the analls of the club's history as the most caseyesque coach we've had since casey

| Think he could have the potential to be a very good coach , but needs the right tools to do the job . And I don't think he has at the minute with the squad he's inherited , so will take time to do things how he wants to .

| If we have 4 points by end of round four, I will be happy, 6 points I will very happy, 8 points he's the new messiah, less than 4 points and he's a very naughty boy.
Seriously has to be given this season, and judged in 2015, sad to say that as long as we make the eight this season I'll be relatively happy, anything higher is a bonus, a good cup run would be nice. I believe he will do ok, but I thought the same about Moyes at Man Utd

When he was appointed I thought it was a terrible decision, and he has said and done nothing to warrant me changing my opinion. He wont have the luxury of being able to have a slow start either, not with relegation looming and with a large number of home fixtures (8 of the first 12 at home). A lot of pressure on a rookie with no experience.

| way too early to be asking this question, when we haven't played a competitive game under him yet. lets see how we go after playing a good chunk of the season. this should tell us things like his tactical acumen, how we cope with injuries, team selection, reaction to a bit of pressure/adversity etc etc. all these things may well surface in the first half of the season (hope the injuries don't). then we will be in a better position to pass judgement
