| Your usual high quality stuff again Wilf. Well, after a lot of deliberation, I've decided to give them another chance and I'll be at the KC later today to renew my season pass. I just wish they would make it easier for us to come to that decision! Great memories of the lads you mention in the Eric Broom tribute and if you could market the determination that our team from that era showed we'd be regular challenges for the big prizes.

| Morning Wilf and thank you for your diary, a great read as always and some thing that will get us through closed season and cold winter.

| Thank you for another great read and in particular for touching on my obsessive crusade, the state of junior rugby league.
The situation just gets worse, rugby league now has to contend with full time rugby union development officers !! For example West Hull under 11s are operating with 17 players (5 down on what they are permitted), of those 17 players 14 have been poached to play rugby union.
I could go on and on about junior rugby league and in particular the myth that surrounds such clubs as Wigan and Leeds and their alleged production line of ’local’ talent.
AP’s romantic plan of club hull definitely needs a plan to underpin the plan. There is however a glimmer of light at the end of this particularly dark tunnel and hopefully after much ear bashing the junior rugby league coaches at hull fc might be taking up at least one an initiative tabled to them.

| Thanks Wilf, always look forward to reading your thoughts of the week's events (or non-events).
I was a bit dubious about the Radford appointment, but it's like a drug, I find myself looking forward to the next season. BEL13VING already.
