Thought he was outstanding Friday, really fronted up to Catalans pack and played long minutes as well. Been a bit disappointed with him for the most this season but now hoping he picks up a bit of the responsibility from O'Meley and kicks on.

I think he's been OK in recent weeks. Copped some unwarranted flak IMO. westerman seems to have really upped his game recently and his effort has been outstanding

Played really well.

Westerman has been our most consistent forward all year, doesn't get the praise he deserves most of the time. He even had a spell at prop on Friday.

Go forward is ok, we have made the 4th most meters in SL.

Problem is all our forwards are simalar, all grafters, Paea will help, need a line breaking back row forward.

We are 12th for the number of clean breaks in the league.

Hopefully this overseas forward is a Manu type player and not Mika or Winterstein.

Not surprised with Whitings MOM but pretty sure Westy can't have been far behind. Seems to be maturing into one of the leaders we need though with the experience he's had, how longs he been playing first team for, he probably should be.

Glad someone saw it the same I thought he had his best game of the season on Friday both in attack and defence.

Thought Watts had his best game of the season, really drove hard with the ball. We know he can be a quality prop but like some have said he has had a relatively quiet season. Think Westerman has got better all season, he's developing into a quality player and is probably proving a few of his doubters wrong, although I guess thier are some that will always get on his back for some reason

Both having to justify a fee??

I think westerman as been getting some harsh criticism i cant see him developing into a international player he has the raw talent and work ethic to be a superstar

Watts was great in the game at Wigan. Needs a brief to offload more, but the rest of the team need to back up.

The problem Westerman has or will always have is he came with a huge price tag, so the minute he does something wrong people get at him.

He seems to have lost some aggression and his offload game. Improved recently, but not like last season.
