We are also pleased to announce Jordan Thompson from Castleford who although only 22 has played close to 100 Super League games and was much coveted by other top Super League clubs.

Our plan is to bring three more players in, an outside back, front rower and probably a back rower as well. We will keep our powder dry on the forwards until the World Cup as we feel to have no quota or cap space available when so much new talent will be on show would be a mistake.

I've never been particularly impressed when I've seen him play, but then, I've only seen him play about 3 or 4 times. I hope I just caught him on bad days.

He is going to be a good signing, just because usually when we have these bad vibes thread on here the player usually turns out half decent.

See him more as a squad filler then a starter though, with the view they can turn him into a decent player.
