Doesn't even begin to cover it......was it nerves or just poor players playing poorly on the day ?
It was painful for neutrals ot watch on TV, god knows how your fans felt !

Not so much nerves as not knowing how to deal with the situation I think. I didn't really think Wigan were better than us but they played the occasion and conditions well. I don't think the neutrals would have appreciated how bad the conditions were.
It seemed that Wigan just had that bit more big game experience than us. At the end of the day our scrum half and full back have less than 20 first grade games between them.

It wasn't really Wigan being better than Hull as it was Hull being so much worse than Wigan. The two half backs, Tickle and Crooks really did have shocking games.
