| What's everyone doing then? 
Reckon I'll be:
Resenting having to go to work, but secretly glad of the distraction from the nerves
Hearing a million and one versions of our injury situation
Watching the 2005 final on DVD
Making a playlist for the M1 that includes Hot Gospel's Old Faithful and Bon Jovi's Keep the Faith
Sleeping badly
But most of all enjoying and savouring it. Win or lose, there's nothing like the Challenge Cup Final and the build-up to it as an occasion; love hearing the stories of fellow fans flying in from Australia and Canada, massed ranks at the Services on the M1, homemade fancy dress, banners, endless features in the HDM. Really looking forward to the build-up this week and will be making the most of it, you never know when it will be our turn again! |

Monday ... Go to work and sing were the famous hull fc to every dobbin at work
Tuesday ... Pretty much the same
Wed........... same again and then sutton golf course after work
Thursday ...same as monday , tues and weds -golf
Friday ... Work , shopping , iron clothes, do a bit of pack up for the coach , book taxi for 6am, set alarm (not that I will need it as I wont get a wink of sleep)
Cant fooking wait ... COYH

Just going to savour it more than anything. Like you say it could be years until we get back to wembley so I'm just going to enjoy it; the build up, the anticipation, and obviously the occasion. Also going to cram in as many hours sleep as I can between now and fri, as I don't expect I'll be sleeping on Friday night!

Monday…off
Tuesday…off
Weds, Thurs and Friday…work
Sat…get up at 5am, shower, dress and adorn the Mighty Hull FC home shirt, kiss the badge. Get in the car with the missus and daughter then hit the roads. Hotel for 11am then have several pints of lager.
The rest I hope will be written into the history books. COYH

monday....day off..
tuesday....at work,driving somewhere
wednesday....prepare the coaches ready for wembley trips
thursday....if not driving any where,have day off and go watch team coach leave
friday....be nervouse and excited all day, and take day off
saturday....get up at 5 am to leave hull at 6am for the drive down there!! COYH

On holiday in Thornton Dale this week. Back down to Staffs Friday. Black and White car flags affixed on car Saturday morning ready for the trip down the M40 with all the pies.

Watching the 2005 final tomorrow (as recorded from BBC, the full coverage). I'm away on Thursday so will miss the send off.
Friday I'm meeting some non-rugby pals for a few afternoon drinks to calm my nerves.
