| Is it just me or does anyone else think they has been a real connection between the fans and players this year, compared to when Kath was in charge?
Like when we are playing at the KC, when they have finished warming up on the pitch clapping the fans before they go off. Also the recent faithful day at the KC.

I think they started that at the Catalans cup match? It's only a small thing but it sure makes a difference

| I think its a nice touch, so long as they don't go overboard with it. I've seen players (in all Sports) be more concerned with whipping the crowd up than actually playing the game.
I think the other big difference is that Pearson, McRae and Gentle seem to be naturally sociable people, whereas Kath & Peter Sharp for example seemed to be more reserved.

Yours in Rugby League: |

| It's the whole culture around the club, much more approachable and communicative.

| I've no problem with it.
Think we'll need to play our part next Saturday. Our support can be worth a few points to us.
We better be ready, I've heard Wigan are issuing song sheets to their fans for their one and only song. It's has one word and sounds like 'Bigan'

Kath and Rule removed the club from any fan connection almost ruining our club
Thank god AP realises we are worth more than that.

I remember one visit to the circle restaurant where her appearance amounted to sticking her head round a door, growling an instruction to somebody and disappearing. She had a right face on her as well.
AP, PG & SM are a lot more personable and we've certainly got more players now who make the effort to engage with the fans.

That statement is just, so wrong!!! Her face was never right, just like her attitude towards everyone who loves our club.

| Saw Kath Hetherington at the London game, a couple of seasons ago. She was in the car park, in a silver Merc with the reg number "R41NOS". Disrespectful I thought

| only time i met hitler/hetherington was a few years ago in the airport in spain after another bad defeat to cats.me and my mate was talking to fitzy and she just walked up and started talking to him totally interupting and ignoring us.when my mate comented on how expensive france was she scoffed "how do you think we feel having to come every year".could'nt believe the way she spoke to fans who had made the effort to support her team.even fitzy looked embarrised.how she has lasted so long in the game with people skills like that is beyond me.

| well Kath once stamped on the head of my kitten and stole all my christmas presents . I actually like peter sharp. The one time in the history of me watching hull (from 86) that we've looked like a champion side (in 2006). The wins at Leeds (where we handed them their s) and saints with the cooke drop goal showed a team with real belief in their ability. Plus the home wins against leeds and bradford in the play offs were highlights of being a supporter.
I am getting to a point......Its strange that during our most successful period in recent history (2005/2006) that the fans felt so distant from the club. At a time when were riding the crest of a wave that should have seen us grow as a side, we often felt dissilusioned. I'll never forgive Kath for taking the cheap option and hiring Agar when we had a real opportunity to push on.
