Former St Helens, Hull and Salford coach Shaun McRae will become chief executive of Queensland Cup club Tweed Heads Seagulls when he returns to Australia at the end of the season.
McRae, who has been involved in Super League virtually non-stop since its inception in 1996, will succeed Terry Keen at the Seagulls after stepping down as Hull's director of football in October.
"My wife and I are delighted to be returning to Australia," McRae said. "We love the Tweed/Gold Coast area and I am thrilled to be joining a club with such a long and proud history as Tweed Heads Seagulls."

Best of luck to Bomber, time is right for all concerned but i've no doubt he's has a big impact at this club in both his spells here.
I for one will never forget one of my favourite games ever which he coached us to an emphatic 38-6 win over Leeds with the best player we've had in the last 20 years IMO Jason Smith putting on a performance many of us fans have longed for over the last 8 years with our lack of halfback/leadership around the park.
