Byrne; Sing, G Horne, Yeaman, Raynor; Washbrook, Lee; Dowes, Berrigan, Cusack, Manu, Tickle, Radford
Subs: R Horne, Carvell, Briscoe, Thackray
Whiting was out injured - he only played three games all season. Can't recall why Houghton didn't play as he only missed a handful of games that year.

| Did we really start a Wembley final with Washbrook and Lee in the halves?
This years team is far better on paper.

| Yeamo went about 80 yards on an interception as well that day didn't he ? Better side this time around and that 2008 side proved that attitude alone can raise a team's collective higher level.

cartoons/WB17.gif I've been on the internet and have already got a sense of the fans' passion for the club. They are very fanatical - Peter Gentle 12th September 2011.
Money doesn't talk it swears, Obscenity who really cares, Propaganda all is phony.
I'm the son and heir of a shyness which is criminally vulgar.
Hanging on in quiet desperation is the English way.

He's having a fitness test later in the week. Apparently he's a 50/50 chance for this weekend's game. (he was always always a 50/50 for any upcoming game during his time with us, poor lad. Pity really).

| dose the team we have today have a better chance against wigan than the team that faced saints?
as I remember saints were pretty dominant at this point. they still had long and price in the half's. but the Hull team of the time was the worst of the kc stadium era.

Worked out about right as well, as I think he played about half of the games he was here for.

Averaged 1.5 try assists per game in the 12 super league games he played. That ratio is better than anyone has managed since. (Granted its only about 40% of a full season)

| Dykes was a great player, it was just so unfortunate that he was injured so often.
Looking at that 2008 team for the final, we should have a much much stronger team (on paper) this year.
