I'm a bit disappointed I honestly thought we would wear the magic weekend kit as we did in the quarters and semi final its just Superstition but I think its been a lucky kit for us what with the Ganson gate and the 2 cup victory's shame I like it as well you need all the luck you can get in a final even if it just mind set

Home kit makes more sense, as the Hull Magic Shirt and Wigan shirts are identical except for the colour, which could make it more difficult to see for the TV if it is bright sunshine or dark shadows on the pitch.

they sold out of the Magic shirts as they were 'made to order' but still have Home shirts left to sell...so this will have been a commercial decision. |

According to the RFL
B4save for the final for which the RFL shall issue a kit directive. Kit directives will be issued from Round 4 onwards. Prior to Round 4 Clubs are responsible for liaising prior to a match to ensure that there is no clash.

We've played in black with a white chevron on and off since at least the late 1950s so it's hardly an all out break with tradition.
It would be nice to play in irregular hoops every year but that would adversely affect replica shirt sales.

we wore white with black v when we played Wigan in 1959 - you must all have seen the iconic picture of Whitely leading the team out in it!
The shirt doesn't matter - its the attitude of those wearing it - both on the pitch and in the stands. |
