whiting looked in a bad way today, but luckily we have loads of cover here with westy and galea on the comeback trail. chris green playing well too. what about horne who went off in second half? looks like everyone else came through ok

Horne got ankle injury

There's only one side in Hull that get injuries.

Both Whiting and Horne will be big misses if ruled out of the next game.

Hopefully Westerman will be ready to take Whiting's place in the back row, but if not I could see Pitts moving wider and then Bowden coming into the 17.

As for Horne, I would imagine that we'll see Heremaia in the halves against Leeds. I doubt Miller will be over by then and even if he was I doubt he would be ready to be thrown straight into a game as soon as he gets off the plane.

We have Westerman & Galea to cover any injuries we picked up today . Westy Will probably be that player .

Whiting seemed to walk to the team coach ok, although Horne had crutches.

we can shift Heremaia to 7, with Miller coming we have cover. Could even bench Miller and interchange him at hooker in his first couple of games so he gets used to our playing structures whilst retaining match fitness

Since Leeds will be preying on Houghton's fatigue with Rob Burrow et al, if I was Gentle then I'd be tempted to give James Cunningham his chance on the bench with Heremaia going to halfback.

Not trying to be funny or knocking the guy (he'd be in my 17 every week) but Whiting has limped out of a number of games this year, are they starting to add up?, maybe should be given a rest, we do have good cover in the back row with Westerman and Galea back.

As for Horne, well 2 weeks isn't bad consider how long our halves are usually out through injury,

Cunningham only had ankle op few weeks ago. Houghton will just do what he has too. Don't think he'll be that fatigued. Had much less game time over all this yr compared to last.

Just seen tickle in the gym, he seemed to be moving pretty freely (and without a leg brace) which would suggest to me that he should be returning sooner rather than later. Imagine Catalan will be a likely return.
