Always the Optimist never the Pessimist. Glass Half full not half empty man me.:8077.jpg

Watts back. No Westerman and Galea if anyone pulls out they are ready to play. 3500 tickets sold.

Hull FC head coach Peter Gentle has recalled fit again prop forward Liam Watts in just one change to his squad ahead of Saturday’s Magic Weekend showdown with rivals Hull KR.
The 22-year-old could be in line to face his former club having made a speedy recovery from an ankle injury sustained in the Tetley’s Challenge Cup victory against Wakefield Wildcats two weeks ago.

Gentle seems keen to retain the same group of players for Saturday’s showpiece event at the Etihad Stadium after a string of impressive results, which has seen the Black and Whites win seven of their last eight matches, including a stunning victory over in-form Warrington Wolves last time out.

That means Hull could potentially name an unchanged line-up for the match, subject to Watts’ involvement, whilst pacey winger Jason Crookes is also waiting for an opportunity should he be called upon.

Meanwhile, Gentle and his men will be buoyed by a strong following of over 3,500 representatives of the Old Faithful with club continuing to top the ticket sales table for Super League’s extraordinary weekend.

It’s the second year running that Hull FC have sold more tickets for the event than any other club, ensuring there promises to be an electric derby atmosphere, whilst the team and fans-a-like will be resplendent in a limited edition members shirt that will be worn for the first time in Saturday’s game.

Tickets for Magic Weekend are still available from the KC Stadium and Savile Street retail stores, with special offers also available.

All season pass holders or anyone who has already purchased Magic Weekend tickets can buy an additional guest ticket for just £10, whilst supporters can receive a FREE complimentary ticket to Magic Weekend simply by signing up to the club’s Foxy Bingo account at www.foxybingo.com/superleague and entering the promo code ‘HULLFC’.

All tickets remain subject to availability, with very limited stocks now available.

Hull FC squad: Bowden, Briscoe, Crookes, Crooks, Ellis, Green, Holdsworth, Heremaia, Horne, Houghton, Johnson, Lineham, Lynch, McDonnell, O’Meley, Pitts, Watts, Whiting, Yeaman

Hull Kingston Rovers sponsored by Oxo Cubes..............The laughing stock:

Has Gleeson ever played for them?

No he hasn't. O'Hara hasn't played this year either. Gleeson apparently returned to full training this week and is apparently targeting our next game against Bradford for his debut.

The only change I would make from last week's team in Watts in for Bowden. Possibly a bit harsh on Bowden as he did well but I just think that Watts adds more to the team.

McDonnell
Lineham
Crooks
Yeaman
Briscoe
Holdsworth
Horne
O'Meley
Houghton
Green
Ellis
Whiting
Pitts

Heremaia
Watts
Lynch
Johnson

The referee's indecision is final:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_3738.gif

2 strong squads for what hopefully will be a good game. what i also like about FC at the moment, and i have to assume this bit to be honest, is that the players don't seem to be on the field carrying many lingering injuries, and go out 'needled up' unlike a lot of last season
