bearing in mind I wouldn't trust a single one of them to formulate a meaningful sentence, this could be fun.

I reckon we should let Wilf have first dibs, they'll go into a flat spin immediately.

They started this last week. I asked what the default decision was when a ball comes free in the tackle and the officials didn't see how it happens. Phil Bentham replied ..


"No default decision. We look at indicators such as 'is the ball lost on impact" or if "pulling" action by the defender. PB"

In fairness the refs were admitting to some mistakes from the previous weekend on the feed (Silverwood agreed Tomkins pass was forward for their first try). A good initiative if not abused by idiots. RL is a strange beast at times - often making a hash of things internally but occasionally leading the way with ground breaking initiatives. My round-ball loving colleagues down here said as much on seeing this.

I hadn't realised it started last week, good on them for trying it, anything that brings accountability/responsibility is a good thing, I just hope they don't shy away when something serious goes on, going to be interesting to follow.

They all took turns in answering genuine questions and were quite honest in their responses. As Staffs said, they admitted to making mistakes when questioned on individual moments in games.

I think its a brilliant initiative. any morons posting abuse will soon get bored of being ignored

Horne to Crooks in the second half looked forward to me, I watched on HFCLive. In fact it didn't really look like Horne even meant to pass it. It's seemed to me like he lost control a little and tried to regain it and pushed the ball into Crooks path. Ill have another look.
