We've got some real quality in the squad for next year, quite a few the wrong side of 30 though (Ellis, Galea, Lynch, Ogre, maybe McGoldrick). Not a bad thing necessarily as the old guard at Warrington have seen them right and are going round again. AP has said that the number of injuries has been too high this year and alluded to it not being acceptable. Anyone know what's going on in terms of physio and conditioners for next year?

We had the same discussion this morning, as AP has already openly discussed this one can only hope plans are in place to bring in top drawer personnel as like you say we will need them

since pope left we have really sruggled i no this from inside, we need a top physio and conditioner, this has been one of the real problems in the team in the last few years, this was the reason why orge was out so long playing him injured aginst leeds on the then physios advice the reason partly to wade going home and the reason mike burnett never played poor injury managment , i think mrs b is totally correct we need to look at howwe rehab after games and take some lessons from other clubs its no good having a great squad and been unable to get them on the field

We will have a full new conditioning/physio team next year, even the we had a full new team this year!! Pearson isn't happy with this area at all, and the search is currently on for next years personnel, with a considerble amount of money allocated for a sports science department

This is great news - if we want to challenge for silverware then we need to improve significantly in this area. I was shocked at how much stronger the Wigan players looked when we played them at the DW a few weeks ago - and in a salary capped sport managing injuries and getting your best players on the pitch each week is so important.

Investing in youth and sport science is as important as investing in the first team squad - so very happy about this.

Don't be surprised to see some Canadians amongst that sports science team. FC are very impressed with the player development and conditioning set up over here. I hear they are looking at the USA too.

Good....investment in this area is as important as any signing imo.
