Crooks

Crooks as 18th man. I guess the reason that Crooks and Lyne are in the squad is that Sharp could be a doubt. If Sharp can't play then I would put Crooks on the wing. Hopefully being outside of Martin would have a good influence on him. I wouldn't play Lyne because I'm not really that impressed by him.

Losing Bowden is another big loss as he's been good so far. This injury situation just gets worse and worse.

Trying to be helpful, I think Bowden is in the list in error - there are 20 names in total, and the article says he isn't in contention. Confused me for a moment.
As fcimp, it'll be a big challenge, especially for some of the relatively inexperienced players.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Crooks on the bench instead of Nicklas, with him coming on for 20 minutes in place of Whiting to give him a rest, moving Turner to loose man for a short spell.

What's the matter with bowden?

They need the fans behind them like never before, went to Huds and i thought the fans were great, we need more of it.
Hard to believe we can be so unlucky especialy with a tough draw in the cup. theres six in the squad that were in the under 20s last season not including Bowdon.

wade is very doubtfull which is why Lyne is in,and bowden been ill all week. sharp shouldn't be a doubt. training as normal yesterday after been on crutches day after hudd game! its the cup and anything can happen but looking well up against it! . i'll be there though!

Oh well - at least we can concentrate on the League.

I aint being defeatist but looking at the list of absentees for this game I can't see anything other than an early exit. To come out of the game without any further injuries is what I'm hoping for.

Played full back against our under 20s last week.
