For the pack. We were giving away quite a bit of size today and it showed in the last 20 minutes. We really could do with Moa back for next week. We really didn't show anything with ball in hand today but we couldn't get the field position either. On the plus side the defending was superb and our scramble was outstanding, last year we'd have conceded 50+ in that game.

So we move onto next week and hopefully a different result.

It was an entirely predictable result today but there is no disgrace losing at the Galpharm.

I'm pretty happy with two points from the Easter weekend.

The big concern is further injuries to Aspinwall and Sharp.

Was a game to far, but thought Bowden showed up well and pitts was good in defence

Not going to complain.
We were in it for 70 minutes but just fatigued at the end.
As said above, losing to the league leaders at their home ground is nothing to be embarrassed about, especially with how short of players we are.

Bowen is acquitting himself really well and doesn't look out of place. Hope Gentle doesn't have to overplay him this season.

We can take a few positives from the game certainly. Hudds basically scored 2 barge over trys and we actually restricted them really well. Hopefully we can take a lot from the game and come up with a way to beat them next week. I'd rather win next week given a choice.

Oh well all winning runs come to an end. Hopefully we can dust ourselves down and carry on next week with our positive approach and progress in to the hat for the next round. It just sounded like we were a bit scrappy due to fatigue so if the coaching staff can wrap the boys in cotton wool for a week we should be okay.

Its a no brainer in my eyes. We as usual have being given a tough easter period so today I was not expecting too much. We didn't have the luxury as Huddersfield did to even rest a couple of players prior to this game. Two days between games in my eyes is a joke in this modern era. How can they honestly expect teams to perform to there best on the monday games, I am confident had we have played Hudds next week in the league we would have being a much bigger threat today.

I am sure Gentle will get them back on the horse, next weeks game should be a mouthwatering encounter, and personally I doubt they will do us twice within a week

Agree to an extent, but I suppose it could be argued its the same for all the teams regarding playing two games so close. The difference was our injury list told. having O'Meley, Moa, O'Carroll and Westerman available could have been a telling difference after Friday.
