I thought Danny was brilliant today, the kid was everywhere making tackle after tackle on anyone. His distribution and kicking seem to have improved massively and hopefully he will continue to push for an international jersey. hopefully Danny will be here for a long long time yet.

Also well done to Danny Nicklas on his performance.

Heremaia being out gives him a chance to establish himself as the starting hooker.

Houghton was class today. Man of the match for me by a country mile. Solid in defence and we looked our most dangerous when he had the ball.

Superb display today - energy and invention in attack and tireless defence. Stuck it to the Warringon side big time today. Reminded of these gems of insight

Defence was great but again good teams target him so in attack he doesnt have much effect in the late periods which we saw today in his passing imo.

Just like the way we went at Monas aswell.

Great performance from him today. Seems to have gone up a level since last year.

No doubting Houghton's contribution and brilliance today. Any SL team wold have him. Don't want to see him burning out again, though. Need Heremaia to take dual control of the responsibility.

Good thing is, though, Houghton's proved there's no rush.

Thought the lad deserved man of the match today,he had a great game.He certainly troubles the opposition with his quick scoots and he puts plenty in to his defence as well.

Houghton was brilliant, in spells some of the best I've seen of him. Play the balls were really fast, tackle machine as usual and its plain to see that he is trying to add another dimension to his game with his kicking.

Great performance today, but can't help but feel that is because he is fresh after the off-season, by the end of last season he looked tired and ineffective. I hope Heremaia's arrival means we can avoid this happening, as on-form Houghton is one of the best hookers in the league IMO.

Top performance best hooker on the pitch. He made a couple of dodgy decisions but not surprising over 80 minutes. A superb effort.

be interesting to see the tackle count from today, he seemed to be in just about every tackle at one point in the second half. tickle put a shift in too in this area as did westy. we have had to replace fitz's 40 - 50 tackles a game with others chipping in and we did that well today

Danny had a blinder today quick hands from scrum when he packed down as loose man.
Looks like the team have been told not to let kicks bounce if they can catch. Couple of diving catches reminded me of gary kemble

After watching the highlights, Houghton's passes to both Tickle's tries were top drawer.

First was well timed from PTB to Ticks running a good strong line, second was a no look pass! Was class!
