| I have always had a lot of respect for Radders, he was always reliable on the pitch, a good work horse and his work in the community coaching etc has been excellent.
I wish him well in the rest of his career..

"Leeds is the greatest club in Rugby League"
Alex Murphy 2011: |
|
| Ryan Bailey smashing him all over again last season, particularly the league game at Headingley where Bailey threw him about ten yards for Leeds last try.

How disrespectful. ATEOTD, someone who has wore the black n white shirt for 6 years deserves more respect than that - especially someone who is still with the club and has done excellent community work for the club. - not mention his work for the Steve Prescott foundation.
Maybe he wasn't the most inspirational captain, perhaps he did play as part of a team that has played pretty poorly for a number of seasons but he has also being part of a team that landed us our highest SL era league position, our first SL GF and our first CC trip to the new Wembley.

If you are not part of the solution then you are more likely part of the problem...: |
|
| I am sure he will be appreciated by both players he has played with and against.
Always gave 100% in the black and white shirt.

Wow, you must have been on some pretty strong hallucinogens that day! 10 yards!! lol
It never fails to amaze me how the Leeds fans feel the need to over hype the biggest pansy of a prop forward in the competition. If he was a tenth as tough, or as talented as they make out, he'd be buried under offers from the NRL.
Anyway, my best memories of Radders date back to when he broke through at 17 and looked one of our best players at the time. Looked like he was going to be a mobile forward back then!

| I value the work he does on the community programme and obviously wish him every success in his coaching career. That said, he (understandably) ditched us and Bradford had the best of him. Solid and unspectacular - I can't really think of an individual play in 6 seasons that turned a game for us. A players' player IMO. Will be there tomorrow and wish him well.

Well said.
I for one don't blame him for leaving Hull when he did. We were in the second tier and had a bad track record of negotiations with local lads such as Radders and David Hodgson (sounds familiar, that). He had a chance to join what was the biggest club in the game at time and he took it. He's hardly the only player to have done it.
Let's not forget, this isn't a Hull FC testimonial. It's an RFL one and Radford has had a successful career.

Yeah that was a great debut, looked every bit a future star. I'd watch him play in the u18's for the previous 12 months and he was almost unstoppable. Why anyone expected him to hang around when Bradford came calling is bewildering.
