It would seem that due to the changes at Manly he's been offered an assistant position and has left Salford for an NRL job. Doesn't seem fair on Salford. I hope they get something sorted sooner rather than later!

Makes you wonder if the new stadium has sucked the club dry of cash, been endless problems their over the last year. Mcrae's illness, Alker Sacked (or illness depends who you listen too), the supposed signing of Gentle and him turning them down and the ultimate timing of Parishes appointment.
Could end up with a nice shiney stadium that unless they have the team to play in it no one will want to go to.

The way Salford fans acted over Mcraes illness and parting of the ways with them and the way they slagged him off....they have got thier just deserts.....pi$$-pot club and fans.

I hope Salford aren't in a complete mess though, it would be great for the game if Salford could step up with their new ground and become another team averaging 10K a week and challenging in the playoffs...SL can't hope to get any more media attention or sponsor money when so many teams are only drawing 5K or less to home games.

TBF to Parish he's been messed about, mis-lead about the depth of his squad and recruitment and didn't have a good relationship with the boardroom, the chairman hadn't spoke to him since he came back from Oz for pre-season. He's seen an opportunity and legged it, you can hardly blame him.
