Just heard this morning that the great 'Sully' has made the shortlist of ten for possibly being the statue chosen on behalf of rugby league to stand outside of the stadium. Apparently there will be a feature on Look North tonight by Simon Clarke. Does anyone know if there is a way to vote for this or is it not open to the fans, thanks?

I said from the off it should be Sully. He epitomises all that is great and innovative about our great sport. Professional, a gentleman and historically perfect. First black national captain. Last British RL player to lift the world cup. A true legend who was loved by all. Sully would be a fitting tribute to the sport as a whole not just the East Riding.

much as i would like it to be sullivan it will probably be someone associated with the cup final seeing as though its at wembley - neil fox, alex murphy, van vollenhoven or ellery hanley
