| Why is it so poor? We put 50 on a team for the first time, at home, in around 5 years. It was more like a pre season friendly. The atmosphere is worse than the last few years IMO when it was pretty poor anyway, when we go away we're amongst the best travelled and loudest in the league, at home it's like a library. Also, why do people clap the opposition team when they enter onto the pitch?

| Sometimes when you score 50+ and the game is one sided, and lets be fair it was one sided for the majority of the game last night, it makes for a dull game in some respects.
I dont think the small amount of opposing fans helps build up the atmosphere either. When we go away it's like we try to outsing the opposition.

| The 60 or so Salford fans never made much noise to be fair.

And when they did the rest of the ground was so quiet we could still hear them.
The home support looked significantly more than we've seen in recent matches at the KC so maybe Friday nights are more popular

Elland Road has atmosphere, so does Anfield. Plenty of football grounds have amazing atmosphere despite been all seater. In fairness, the problem about the stadium is more the size of it relative to our average amount of fans.

| I agree with the opening poster...its been dire all season and it was like a grave yard last night.....usually sit in the south which usually isnt to bad but had some freebees in the west last night which is awful..if you raise your voice and try and get up for it it feels like your being watched as though your being too rowdy.

| Sounded pretty good on the radio in the first half, pretty quiet in the second.
I do think it's sometimes difficult to generate a real atmosphere with a very small number of away fans.

| Make the East Stand Unreserved in 'Chav Corner', they may be little pains in the arris but at least they generated some noise, plus it fills the stand up to

| The club should make blocks E9-E11 (towards the South Stand) unreserved. The policy of making the whole of the East Stand reserved seating has had a detrimental effect on the attendance figures and the atmosphere.
It's certainly true though that a lack of away fans doesn't help.

| There was hardly a ripple when Salford scored the last try, usually there is a bit of reaction from home fans, especially as we got sloppy towards the end.

| Maybe they should bring back some terracing , I know there's a campaign going on at the moment in trying to bring back safe standing at Premier league grounds .

I think everyone understood why we'd gone sloppy. Not only was the game done and dusted, but we'd gone from 1. Phelps 6. Westy/Washy 7. Horne 9. Houghton 13. Washy/Westy to 1. Whiting 6. Phelps 7. Westerman? 9. Washy 13. Tickle
