Read the comment from some numpty calling himself "SteveFC"
"Game a joke" although he didn't bother going - obviously has no concept of the magic of the cup, and won't have seen and heard the great reception and applause that Oldham got.
Those guys tried their hardest and deserve a better commnet thatn being branded a joke.
This sort of disrespectful attitude really makes me angry as there is A LOT more to rugby league than super league.
Without teams like Oldham this sport would be nothing and we should show RESPECT.

oldham did no worse against us than quins did against wire a few weeks back. Thought they gave a good account of themselves and played right through to the hooter (or siren as it seems to have become)

Out done by a bigger faster team. No disgrace in that. Happened to us at Bradford a few years ago,and we were in the same league!! The Roughyed fans sang till the end and gave great support throughout the entire match.The Team,although obviously outclassed never gave in. They should be applauded for that fact alone.Lets see who we draw next and see how much disrespect they afford the likes of Wigan ,Saints or Leeds.
Probably attract more than 6200 fans.

They played in the spirit of the game - epitomised by their number 26 being put flat on his back by (I think) Jordan Turner in a real cruncher of a hit who then got up and gave him a pat on the back.
And we came through with no injuries? Bonus.

I would neither worry about what "SteveFC" said or give the vast majority of folk posting on the HDM comments section the time of day.
If you read the comments after just about any story you'll soon realise it seems to be a place for nutters.
