Is this the first time its happened for a derby at the KC?

I can only ever remember it being all ticket aye, but don't take too much notice being a passholder so could be wrong!

Certainly shows how high in peoples priorities this match is. Last season's KC match must have been pay on the gate given only 20k were there, but that was because Sky switched the ko to Thursday.
With weather looking good I suspect people will record and head out elsewhere for the day. I suspect 20k max.

this game has to sell out as simple as that no excuses be intresting to hear what rule has to say on it.

and done zero marketing (except jacking prices up)

I criticize the club for a lot, but I disagree they have 'done nothing'

they have offered kids tickets for £5 and IMO the derby shouldn't need marketing.

I was in Hornsea a few of weeks ago and KC were there literally handing out free tickets to anyone that would take them. Goodness knows how many of the actual attendance actually pays to get in.

maybe the thought of doing all year-round deals instead of certain fixtures would encourage more to attend......
kids for £5 is a great idea
adult +1 kid = £22
adult + 2 kids = £25
2 adults + 2 kids = £40

surely this would be a great incentive n these financially crippling times...
