One good game at Wakefield, aside from that he didn't set the world alight for us and it was the correct decision to release him.
There was a bit of the Emperor's new clothes about the way he was bigged up by some fans. |

Just a quick one to through out there, anthony thackerey is to be released. I havrnt seen him play much in the championship but surely a return and even dual registrationcould be worth a punt.

A decent but not outstanding player at championship level, and if Widnes don't think he's worth keeping for next season then I can't see why Hull should be interested.

Yeah I agree we should sign Tom saxton, Andy Bailey and Paul Cooke Aswell |

I've heard a rumour Cookes back in training with a full time contract with Hull on the table for 2012. |

I say fair play to the lad - was kicked out of Hull which must have been a real hammer blow and then gets Championship player of the season. Would rather we'd have kept him as back up at half back rather than having to play Washy and Berro all the time. Heaven forbid we ever move any of our youngsters up though.

Obviously can't entertain any thought other than that of what our peers say. Thackeray left hull for first team experience he wasn't particularly thrown out.
