They have achieved the impossible by making a tidy post victorian park look like a scrap yard and in time it will look even worse................. only in Hull

At least we don't have to wait for the new metalwork to rust!

I think it'll have to grow on me. Perhaps it's "wasteland chic", in which case it's ironic and clever at the same time.

Rust is the new black - a building in Leeds that looks rusty won best new buliding in the world last year (I seem to remember)

Thankyou for your comments guys, i was hoping you,d all say no its not finished yet and i would have breathed a sigh of relief, Ill just have to close my eyes and get my son to lead me into the park on friday night and im hoping i wont be comming out as miserable looking as them horrible rusty looking things!!

Bloody awful, even the Blackpool "things".
Justify the job losses when these things are being put up at daft costs, like them stupid statues in Manchester.
