why not gives us another attacking player he is solid under a high ball and can take any one down look at all the half backs that have switched to full back there teams have benifted

No no no no no.
He's better at 6 than FB when he manages to play, plus Whiting is a better cover FB than Horne in my eyes. Leave Whiting there until Phelps is sorted out. Obst won't be playing 6, he'll be rotating at Hooker with Houghton.

Probably better than Whiting at FB, who didn't offer an ounce of attacking threat yesterday.

That is a reasonable back line and will be made stronger by Phelps turning up.

I agree with that as I don't think Turner is anywhere near good enough.
1: Horne
2: Briscoe
3: Yeaman
4: Whiting
5: Sharp
6: Obst
7: Long
Will horne be fit though? Will he plunge Obst straight in? Doubt it. He bought a 150,000 LF and used him to replace 2nd rowers from the bench.
If horne is fit, more likely he'll play 6 and turner will go centre.

Horne would make no yardage returning kicks. I thought Whitings kick returns were good, strong and direct into players, horne will either have a surrender tackle or dominant tackle meaning longer holding time on the floor for defenders giving time for their line to be set.

No thanks. Dickie Whiting made some uncharacteristic errors on Sunday but he's the best option until Phelps arrives.
