Great stuff from the club, can see the family tickets doing really well.
"A family ticket is available offering 2 adults and 2 juniors the opportunity to see the match live for only £50. In addition any family who purchases a family ticket will receive a complimentary £10 gift voucher to use in the retail stores. Family tickets are at a premium so be sure to purchase early!
In difficult financial times we are very aware that money is tight for all. In order to facilitate fans watching our team live, we have a further incentive for this game also. Any fan who buys a South Stand ticket 24 hours prior to kick off from the ticket office can purchase for £19 adults and £10 concessions and children. This offer will be sure to sell out soon so buy early to avoid disappointment."

| Quote: Standee "and what about passholders?'" Im a pass holder but my first thought was... Nice one, club activly trying to increase the gate and possibly get new supporters/interest from people that dont normally go. Or rewarding people who goto every game but never buy a season pass.

| They have our money for the season already. No need to offer us stuff to tempt us in.

Indeed, but as someone who hasn't had a pass for years and finally got one this season, I am left wondering if it was worthwhile, if they do this for multiple matches then my pass was false economy.
Maybe just for the first game given the trepidation that many FC fans are approaching the coming season with.

| It's a deal that should be done for the less prestigious fixtures IE Catalans/Salford/Quins etc not one that will already sell out the east and south stands regardless of offers.

Possibly, also the people that go to the first game maybe like it and will goto more games throught the season? Maybe it should be a west stand thing?

Thinking the same too, I'm a pass holder but of corse I want a bigger crowd, and if it takes a bit of a deal for the first game of the season then so be it. I seriously doubt it will be a regular deal or even because of the opposition, more just that it's the season opener at the KC.

| The family tickets are west stand only anyway i think??? But if they did the offer for the west stand you would have seen a lot of the south stand regular non pass holders would take advantage of the offer and then be stood in the west.
I do see your point about it being the 1st home game and a good performance/result could entice some back for further games. However a poor game (and lets face it our coach has a truly awful record against Leeds) and those new visitors will not want to return to watch more.
But for a game that attracts 14k average it just seems a strange one to target.

May seem strange in that sense, but I honestly just think it's because it's the season opener and it's on Sky. Good crowd and good match, as you say may entice new fans!

We get the equivalent of three or four free games, free entry to the 4th round of the cup and priority tickets. Not to mention a free burger, of course
I'm happy for the club to do the occasional offer during the season.

My position & thoughts exactly, added to the problem of finding a suitable seat when the full stand is sold out and unreserved.Would a better option perhaps be to make the same offer but sell the rest of the north stand or the top teir

Yes.................a bargain to SIT DOWN in what is arguably the best stadium in the league!!! we also keep the price the same for all our visitors, unlike our cross river cousins!!!!
