| all joking aside, this guy was immense for the mighty fc on and off the pitch..what a guy and what a player..... its no coincidnece that his presence coincided with a challenge cup win and a grand final appearance and lets be honest he was the lance todd trophy winner in 2005 and if kevin sinfield had any credibility then he would hand the trophy over 
swain was everything we wanted from a captain, and ultimatly an import in my opinion, yes we paid him big dollars BUT we got value for money, one of which is sorely missed these days...
swain was,is the king in my opinion...and long live the KING  |

| Richard Swain was one of the best hookers that i have had the pleasure to watch. However, his treatment of your coaching staff seriously sent him down in my estimation as a person. (and i still dont believe that he cant climb trees  ) |

After Knocker my all time fav player. I also feel he is part of the reason why some don't rate Berro.
As for how he treated Kear I know who I backed and we are still talking about him as a legend. Says it all really. The directors were criticised but on that one in hindsight they got it right.
