Such a shame, without that bloke we simply wouldn't of won the 2005 Challenge Cup or got the 2006 Grand Final end of. must go down as one of the worse career moves ever. Such a talented player but such a waste.

[quote="The Reason":3e09qe5x]Hi Andy
The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

TBF I think even if he'd stayed with you he'd have found some way to destroy his career, just seems its in his make-up.

Do you still say that re: Brough?? as without him we wouldn't have won the CC either, or Gareth Raynor??
It was one try FFS!!!!
He reckons he's got no regrets, well if thats the case he's a bigger nutcase than even i thought.....
At least some people liked him when he was at FC, now EVERYONE hates him!!
I don't care how many interviews you do or how many newspapers you cry to Mr Co*ke, i'm not interested. I have NO sympathy now f-off and find a nice little rock to climb under and disappear!!

I'm sorry but we were pretty much a one man team, whatever you think about him we wouldn't have been as successful at that time, proved by how we plummeted when he left.
He had a much bigger impact then Raynor or Brough, or Swain, Horne or Kearney for that matter, if you don't agree watch the season review DVDs for those seasons.
I said at the time we should have given him whatever he asked for at the time, he was in a position to hold the club to ransom.

You are either Paul Cooke himself or a very poor comic.

| He has a big influence while at Hull but to say we where a one man team is incorrect, for eaxample watch the 3005 challenge game against Bradford at home, our forwards (Thacks, Carvell) etc where superb against a fantasic pack, without them we wouldn't have got into the postions for Cooke to set up the trys.
Also our 2006 campaign was built on strong defence, did Cooke make all these tackles.
Any one player can have an influence but he can't do it without massive help from his teammates, any who says otherwise hasn't watched the game close enough and can't have played.

| Cooke was fantastic for us and he fitted well into our team and he and Horne were a very good partnership.
Shadow of his former self now though.
